Have been reading posts for quite some time....time to join in!

Very nervous. My lap rny is scheduled for Dec. 2nd (tuesday) at Centennial in Nashville. Would love to have an angel to learn from. I am from Morrison so i have about an hour and a half drive....so any heads up on what to make sure i have would be great! Thanks. Christa

Take a robe, some house shoes, magazines....thats about all I can remeber taking. I had my RNY done at Baptist, you are so lucky to be getting yours laproscopically. My doctor does not perform the RNY lap yet, so I have a big scar. Honestly, that was what hurt me the worst, the incision and cutting of my abdominal muscles. You will breeze through and everything will be fine! Remember to walk walk walk and sip sip sip water. Congrats on your new life!!!
