I'm off to Woodville for the Dogwood Festival parDe and pageant that my niece Brooke will be in today. Ben and my sister and I are going. We won't be back home until late tonight. It should be fun. Ben refused to be in it when he was a Sr. He was chosen to be the Livingston escort but said no...he could have chosen any local girl to be his Duchess to escort and he was too shy to go meet all the strangers. They have a western dance on Thursday night, breakfast on Friday morning, formal ball on Friday night, parade on Saturday afternoon and the pageant finale crowning a Dogwood Queen on Saturday night. Only the 5 princesses from Tyler County can be Queen. No pressure on Brooke tonight. She can just stand there and smile and look pretty.

GOOD MORNING! Well, I'm not sure its a wonderful morning because I didn't sleep well last night. BUt I'm wide awake now so I am eating breakfast and getting going. That way I can take a nap later. We've got errands to run. Now that I have my car back, the state inspection is due and I need an oil change.
Tonight we're having movie night at our house. We're going to watch The Princess Bride. I honestly cannot remember most of the movie and Chris hasn't seen it, so we're going to watch it. I'd like to go on a date with my hubby sometime soon but don't know when. Maybe Sunday we can figure out something for Chris to do while we go to a movie or eat out or something.

I have a lot to do today getting ready for my MIL birthday dinner, plan to make a WalMart run in a couple of hours to get the stuff for the dinner. I hate the grocery section at WalMart on Saturdays its always crowded but I need other things besides groceries and I want to get everything in one stop.
Alissa your post reminded me that my inspection run out end of March so I guess I better get that done sometime this week.
