Third Surgery the Charm?

So, in 2008, had lap band put in by Dr. Hansen. I did pretty well with that and lost about 70 lbs. Then, last year, had to have a revision (lap band was just put back in after slip). Since then I have gained 40-50 lbs. Super depressing. So, now I am working with Dr. McKinlay. Looking to get gastric bypass or duodenal switch? I am starting to lean towards duodenal switch...if you have done this procedure, who was your dr., would you recommend him? would you recommend this surgery?

After my lap band issues, I wish I had done the gastric bypass initially or ds....I am curious of someone's experience with gastric bypass or duodenal switch 3-5 years out, or even currently...if you have had one...and who was your surgeon. I currently have BCBS Anthem, which should cover this...I think.

I had the scope down my throat test today, and I don't have an erosion, but we are thinking there is a leak or another problem with my lap band...any thoughts?
