I am sitting here crying happy tears. How do you thank a man my surgeon who has given me back my life. I have been back to the gym and biking. Running around with my grandchild at the park. I am so happy and my whole family is happy now that I am happy with me.

This operation has changed my life so much and my attitude towards others I have become more caring and am able to show my emotions towards others. I love to hug others and I sure smile more. I never ever expected this kind of change in me. I am able to handle stress better and if things go wrong in my day I am able to handle that to and not get so up set over things.

I was never told loosing weight would make me feel or have feelings again. My question is how do I thank my surgeon for saving my life?.
My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

I was talking to a girl at work she had the band and she told me to day this is such a great ride and people who do not get this have no idea how amazing it is. She is just as happy as I am hope you all are as happy with this surgery and the changes it brings.

How about sending him a nice thank you card? I'll bet he'd be happy to get it.

I'm so happy for you. Life's good, isn't it?

Get a lovely card and put your entire post in it.  Offer to be a part of his seminar the next time!

The best way to thank your surgeon is to get to goal, stay there and do life !!!!

I have seen my surgeon twice post op and I can assure you that he gets a great big HUG.  And next week I am feeding his office lunch!  It helps that that is what I do for a living.
