1,200 calories.

I was told to eat ever two hours that I do not eat enough. I should be eating 1,200 a day. I have been trying to eat like this for a month so far. It is very hard to eat when your not hungry and hard to eat something every 2 hours but I have been doing it.

I have noticed I am loosing weight faster than I was when I ate 800 a day. I am also back in the gym 7 days a week which helps me. I was reading on the starvation mode and was reading that it is not true so than why am I loosing weight now faster???.
My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

I don't know, but I'm sure one of the veterans on this website do.  I just wanted to say what a nice problem to have.  Me on the other hand have been eating about 1000 calories a day and have been in a stall and I've been exercising more than before (but I'm not in the gym 7 days a week like you).  Keep up the good work :-)

I was just reading about the metabolism I guess that is why I am able to loose. I see my doctor tomorrow I am going to ask him about his. And see if he tells me yes that is why he wants me to eat like this.

I am in a study group I was number 3 sleeve for him wonder if he is just trying out new ways with me so his other sleeves can be told how to eat and exercise.
My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

This all confuses the **** out of me. I just bought an app to track calories from food and calories burned from exercise. After putting in yesterday info I was at -47 calories for the day… **** ME… Ill never figure this **** out!

You were at -47?  I average -1000.  And I EAT...  You have to have a 3500 calorie deficit to lose 1 lb...  I wonder if your calorie burn tracker is off...

So yesterday I had 2 protein shakes (one for bfast and one for lunch) and like 10 almonds for dinner. Then ran 3 miles… I don't know man… Its so tough in some ways. I have no desire to eat at all… none so it makes it hard to make myself eat when I can just get in protein and water but I wonder if this is ******g with my loss. Im 45 pounds down in 11.5 weeks and wonder if I am on track

So what was that?  400 calories?  That's not nearly enough...  I know Dr's have different guidelines but 400 is REALLY low...

I didn't get a calorie limit or expectation from the doc but he does want all my calories coming from food so Im sure he would expect me to be eating a lot more. I don't see him again for 3 months!
Im sure I should eat more it just feels so pointless sometimes cause of the little amounts i end of eating so lots of the time just focus on water and protein and make sure I meet those everyday. I actually had some steak for dinner today… Ill have to plug that into my lil app and see how that goes.

I personally feel that after a while of staying at the same caloric intake our bodies do go through some phase. Starvation mode? IDK? But during my losing phase when I would stall, I would up my calories by a couple hundred and I would start losing again. My nut had me at 1200 calories by the time I hit goal. I'm honestly not trying to lose anymore but I still stay between 1200-1400 calories on most days. Occasionally it's only 1000 but very rarily. I would keep doing what your surgeon and/or nut recommends. For some reason it always seems to work!! Apparently most know what they are talking about because most of us do make it to goal!!
