jp drain leaking
Yes,it happens. sometimes the drain g
ets clogged up wi
th dra
inage and won't drain anymore. The drainage will start draining out around the drain insertion site. As long as the drainage is getting out somewhere you are good.
Are you remembering to squeeze the bulb after you drain it and before putting the plug back in> So you create the vaccum it needs to draw out the fluid?
You should be fine till Tues.
Good luck,
Holly

i just had mine removed thursday. i did have some leakage from the site, but not too much. honestly, when it was a bit wet i didn't change it since i was not liking my pants pulled up over that area anyhow.
i think the bigger issue is how much is your bulb filling and what color? by the time i was out a few days i was getting very little drainage. i had no real means of measuring it, but i estimated it at less than 1/16 of a cup each time i emptied it...about every 10-12 hours. it was also pretty much just yellow. when i had it out the doc said it looked great.
are you having any less discharge than you had before? how's the color? if you're concerned call the doc, even if you have to go through an answering service. that's what they're for.
good luck!
