I'm not bald

Well, I think the hair loss is finally slowing or even over with! It started around 2 1/2 months and I'm 5 1/2 months now.  I can run my fingers through my hair now and clumps don't fall out.  Just a few thinning spots, but nothing close to being bald.
I just wanted to share, so some of the folks who are worried about hair loss would be reassured.

It all grows back. I lost a lot from months 2-7. I am now 9 months post-op and have sooooo much hair growing back in. It's a little annoying because the new hair is sticking straight up! LOL.

Many patients say it starts as soon as you lose 60 pounds and continues for about 6 months. It does come back and at that six month mark you will see short hairs popping up. It's just a phase.

Well, I'm sure I'm tempting fate to say that I haven't lost any hair yet. I even had my hair cut yesterday and the hairdresser confirmed that everything was good. I'm a little over three months out and I've hit the 60 pound mark, so I'm hoping I'm one of the lucky ones!
