Let's talk about sex baby..

When is the soonest you could have sex after surgery?? I can't understand why it totally skipped my mind when I saw my surgeon. I'm having surgery next week and wondering if I need to prepare myself for a long wait. Please let me know.

I think it depends on how you feel. My doc told me when ever i feel like it. I was never in pain so i had it about a week after surgery. No problems. But we did take it really easy just in case but everything was fine.

I don't think there's any really good PHYSICAL reason you couldn't have it in the hospital, but you probably won't feel like it until your body recovers from the shock of surgery.  After about a week you begin to feel pretty normal (at least I did), and at that point, why not?

I hope you weren't allowed to do that!! Hahahaha!!!!!

Thanks for the input! This is my first ever surgery. The closer I get, I try not to think about it. I just wanted to be on the safe side. If I thought if I had to go the booty strike, I would try to as much in as possible.

I'd still do that anyway, good pre-op exercise to go along with the diet!

In all seriousness, about a week out, you will feel normal enough, as long as you take it easy with incisions. Guess it could be a time to get creative
