I tried googling but came up with nothing. Maybe this is a dumb question but I don't know whether to considered it part of my 8 cups a day.

I can't answer with 100% certainty, but it seems like it would.  Here is an article on the Zero water... http://www.nola.com/health/index.ssf/2010/03/post_29.html

Yes.  It's the same as drinking Crystal Lite, chicken broth, milk, etc.  All of those count toward your 64 ounces of liquids (and it's "liquids" not "water" that you have to have 64 ounces of).  Sugar free Jello counts as a liquid, too.

I count everything.......water, tea, coffee, almond/cow's milk, protein drinks.....you get the picture.  Good luck on your upcoming surgery!  Hugs........Jennifer

It definitely counts as part of your 64+ ounces - however one thing to consider - vitamin water zero contains electrolytes and while occassionally you may need this (especially just after surgery) - electrolytes cause water retention which can cause stalls in your weight loss....just a frustration -  because of this I stopped drinking them and returned to water & crystal light.

I count it.  I like having them around to mix things up or to grab on the go when I'm out since plain water isn't going down well for me lately.  I like the SoBe LifeWater 0's too.

Any liquid that contains water is part of your 64 ounces.  That includes coffee, tea, lemonade, Crystal Light, etc., etc., etc.
