Yeah I've lost 150 and still losing. I think you could lose any amount and get to your goal weight. It's insane.

I don't think there is any limit to what you can lose.
When I reach my goal, I will have lost 238 lbs.
My calculations have me there in May 2012.

It can be done...just takes awhile and focus.

If you follow the rules, I truly believe you can get to your goal weight.  I have lost steadily and I don't even do extreme low carbing.  I have lost a total of 108 pounds. (40 with the band and the rest with the sleeve).  I LOVE my sleeve!!!!

I'm knocking on 200 down, not sure if I can really lose that much more or not tho.  Have seen several 200 and even a couple of 300 plus losers on this board.

It's all about what you do with the chance to re-start.

According to my surgeon, people with a BMI over 50 typically lose around 70% of their excess weight within the first year... how much you lose after that is up to you.

It is possible to lose over 200lbs... one of the regulars here, jimbovsg, has lost 300lbs!!

I'll let Jimbo Chime in and tell you how much he lost.....

I will tell you....you need to go to  VSG surgeon that has experience and success working with SMO.

200+ and counting here...I personally know someone that has lost 300#.  Yes, it can be done.  It takes dedication and commitment to achieve.  I know that if I can do it, anyone can if they put forth a true effort and make the necessary lifestyle changes.

Hope this helps you.  Best of luck to you.

Actually I did not really lose that much...it is an optical illusion.....camera angles and ****!  ha ha ha!    In all seriousness.......YES  you can lose over 200lbs.....if you work hard...and stay on track!   It is possible....but without....action.....not probable.  Are you a person of "action?"
