I sampled Unjury in my dr.'s office and thought it tasted just like chocolate milk.  I have ordered that.

BTW, I am 8/12!

This is such a subjective topic. Everyone's taste is so different. Plus your tastes change (possibly) after surgery.

For example---I assume you tried Lean Body from GNC?  I love them and have one every morning...vanilla, chocolate or banana...usually with a little SF Torani or DaVinci.
Try some different singles from GNC or Vitamin Shoppe.

Also, see the Diet and Nutrition Forum here. There's 300+ protein drinks listed and over 450 protein powders. Lots of comments regarding taste and cost.

Good Luck.

My revision to sleeve is 8/17 and I use Unjury also. You can order it on www.unjury.com and it doesn't taste that bad. They also have a chicken soup flavor that is ok and has way more protien than regular broth.

Good Luck and see you on the other side!!

I loved ISOPURE (grape flavor) from GNC.  40 grams of protien, 0 carbs.  I also guzzle down the Premier Proteins (chocolate & Vanilla) from Coscto. 30 grams of protein and 5 carbs.  Necter's pinapple coconut flavor is pretty tasty (23 grams of protein).  Unjury unflavored is okay... when mixed with something that you love.  Remember if its unflavored its just not vanilla or chocolate... it still has a nasty taste.  I also just purchased Click's protein coffee that is pretty tasty for 15 grams of protien.

Good luck!!

For me I just lived off the premier ready made protein shake, chocolate.
It was easy, ready and there... but I didnt start this until week 3 when I went
to full liquid stage.

The first two weeks I use isopure ( clear) only when I was on the clear liquid stage.

This is just my experience.

Isopuke lived up to it's name (for me). Couldn't do it. I drank premier nutrition shakes from Costco in the beginning. Now, I like EAS AdvantEDGE shakes. More flavor, and they're thinner in consistency, but only 17g of protein. I do EAS powdered protein shakes, too. Both vanilla and chocolate are good mixed with sf Torani or banana or other fruits and yogurts.

Oh, and Unjury chicken was the only protein I could handle after surgery. I lived on it for the first week!

Good luck!
Jen
