OMG how do I get the hunger to go away????
I'm starving and the commercials on tv are not helping, food, food, food everywhere. I want some Pizza Hut, omgggg. My stomach is grumbling and bubbling and whatever else it does, I AM HUNGRY. I'm on my pre op liquid diet as of today I dont think I can make it. My head is pounding and I feel so weak and icky. How do I make it through this week?????

Thanks, Kerry For pre op they told me 20 grams of protein a day of course my protein supplement is 25 and they said thats fine. I actually just drank it and I feel a lil better. I haven't seen anyone say anything about this one I got but it's by Twin Labs 100% whey protein Fuel chocolate surge. It is pretty dang good and I used water. Hope I still like it after surgery lol My son was using ON 100% whey Gold Standard double rich chocolate. I tried that and had to choke it down with water it tasted like chocolate water blehhhhh lol Kerry
If you can, don't want TV :) Read a book, go for a walk, rent a movie...
I was having a couple protein shakes a day even before I was on liquids so that I wouldn't binge. Maybe check with your dr. to see if you can have more than what you're having, and make them thick. Good luck!

My dr's office said that once I did my 3 days of clear liquids, that I would probably do like 5 shakes each day. One day I did two but normally only had one. I kept very busy and ate only when I was truly hungry. I would try to put off eating as long as possible. I never thought I could do it but it got easier!
Thank you, yeah I'll probably call tomorrow. I got this lump in my throat stomach and I just want to eat. My stomach was growling a lil but ago. I've had 2 yogurts, some broth, water, and my protein shake today and I chewed on some gum lol Need to go make my sugar free jello and pudding and get me some sugar free popsicles lol Kerry
