Just got home and settled in.  I'm in pain of course, waiting to take my next round of meds lol.  Was in hospital today when the earthquake happened.  I had just sat in the recliner and closed my eyes when everything started shaking thought I might be in a vibrating recliner until I opened my eyes and realized everything was shaking lol Called nurse but she was as clueless as me  as to what was happening at the time.  Needless to say it my first earthquake and it scared the crap out of me  I guess for me nothing can just be normal day, not even when getting the sleeve lol Kerry

Thanks no I just made it through.  Basically I hit the pain pump as much as possible which was morphine and didn't control my pain at all but it did keep knocking me out so I didn't have to be awake to much to feel it lol.  I was just so frustrated yesterday cause I felt I was telling the nurses over and over when I was awake literally bawling my eyes out and they just kinda looked at me like I was crazy.  Hopefully it gets better from here and I don't find myself back at the hospital for any problems.  Thanks, Kerry

When I had my surgery the nurses would bring heated blankets and put them over my abdomen. It really helped ease the pain. Try one of those packs you can put in the micro to heat or a heating pad. It might help soothe you.

Just remember that it will get better each day.  I spent 5 days in the hospital .  I too thought it was horrible and that I thought i would die if i threw up one more time.  But once I got the correct meds and got home, it was sooooo much better.  Trust me !!!  Also once that drain is out, you will feel like a new woman...

We are all here to lend a ear.

Thank heavens that surgery was over before the the earthquake...
