Surgery, earthquake and a Hurricane, what's next????
Take care, it is a big one. we are watching to see where it is coming up the east coast into Canada as well. We were hit with one 8 years ago and it caused lots of damage, hopefully it will just downgrade to a tropical storm by the time it gets here
Hope you are doing well otherwise, I know you had some problems with the pain the first night, I think it is all normal and give yourself a few days to start feeling a bit better since it is major surgery.

Thank you. Yes I'm still having alot of pain but I guess I must be doing somewhat better hubby says I seem like I have more range of motion and can walk better. I think it's where they took my tummy out cause it's like my left insision that hurts the most that side of my tummy my right doesnt hurt at all. Kerry
Was this your first surgery? I have had some c-sections before and tubes tied so they pumped that dang air into me and man oh man I thought I dislocated my shoulder, or pulled a muscle trying to get up out of bed. The gas pains were bad. I think next week you will be feeling so much better. It all takes time, remember to go easy with things.
I am having the same luck, only today they cancled my kids party b/c of the hurricane and then my son knocked one of his adult teeth loose while wrestling with the dog (can't wait to see THAT dentist bill). And the people in my area (I am on the coast) are going CRAZY b/c of the storm, I literally almost had to wrestle some lady to the ground over the last two gallons of water left in our store. I told her to take one and I would take the other, but she wanted BOTH and would not budge.
Guess what, I am a ***** and I ended up with both gallons LOL

When the going gets tough, the tough get going!
I can so picture the fight over the water.....LOL
My in laws are in Philly, and I cannot even get them to make reservations at a hotel in maybe Harrisburg or something. They're old and stubborn. My MIL changed the subject and said she had a space blanket and snacks in the car....like that will save them!! I sure hope it's not as bad as the news hype is making it out to be. But you cannot deny the satellite image....that storm is gigantor in size!!!! I am scared for the east coast.........
