I see alot of people post that they have acid reflux and I was wondering what it feels like??? Is it the same as before surgery??? AS far as I know I haven't experienced any but I do have pain in my tummy still 2+ weeks out.  Before surgery my acid reflux was so bad that I felt like I was literally drowning in acid and always burning.  Is it the same after surgery or is it different???? Thanks, Kerry

My dr. Warned me that my reflux could get worse with the surgery. I'm still taking a OTC dose of prilosec like I was before surgery and it helps. I have had a few times late at night I felt a slight burning and took an extra pill. But over I don't think much has changed.

It can feel the same or it can be gone or it can get worse. Deopends on the person and their inddividual anatomy.

If you have pain in your sleeve, you might try an anti acid  pill for a few days ,see if it makes a difference.
