One Year Pictures
I finally figured out how to post pictures to this forum. My one-year anniversary was on 10/25/11 and I took a Halloween Singles Cruise to the Caribbean for the occasion. The cruise was all about doing things I never would have done one year ago. I also turned 40 this year so I made a vow to release all fears (My Fearless 40s). So here are the things I was able to do (physically and mentally) that I couldn't do before:
- I danced in a conga line through the dining room
- I dressed up in costume for the costume ball
- I sang and danced karaoke (my version of hell but it was on my list of fears so I did it)
- I rode a horse in the ocean
- I sat outside in my bathing suit and went swimming for the first time in about 15 years
- I held an alligator
- I wore heels for the first time
- I wore a sleeveless dress for the first time
- I danced the marengue
- I mingled with the singles (not good at that at all but I'll keep trying
Below are my before and after pictures.
The first picture was the day I came home from surgery
And this one is on the cruise.
Remember - be fearless!
