2 months post-op Acne breakouts
Ok I am 2 month post-op and doing great losing! Is anyone else having issues with acne? I realize our bodies are going thru hormonal issues but geez I am 43 yrs old with a face full of zits!! I will take zits over 50 lbs anyday...just wondering if this is normal?

OMG! It is so crazy that you mentioned this.
I made an appointment with the dermatologist today because I have had "super acne" on my back. Although I thought it was strange, I never related it to my surgery...duh. I'm so glad you mentioned this because I'm sure I would not have even mentioned the surgery at my appointment.

I don't know. I wish I did because then I could do something about it! LOL
My derm didn't seem to think the surgery or weight loss were related to the acne. He thinks it just happens sometimes.
Maybe it's hormones?

Yea we see both ends of the spectrum, some people get really bad acne after, some people's skin clears up.
But what youre going through is very normal, although im sure also frustrating.
