You look so cute...compliment?

For the past two weeks, I have had SEVERAL people come up to me and tell me how cute I look.  My hair is the same, my makeup is the same, heck, even my clothes are the same.  The only thing that has changed is my weight.  I'm assuming that they haven't quite figured out what the change is yet but what does that mean?  When I was 40 pounds heavier, I wasn't "cute?"  I want to feel complimented but I don't.

What are your opinions?

Are you feeling any better physically?

I only ask because I know that I get more compliments when I feel more energetic and positive than I do when I'm cranky or tired, regarldless of what I wear or how I do my makeup and hair. Other people seem to be able to sense that kind of thing.

One of the thing I notice is that my attitude has changed some as the weight comes off, I am more confident, happy, outgoing. My husband says that it makes me "glow" or appear more attractive, not the weightloss itself but my "aura".  Could be people may be picking up on that with you.

I notice people looking at me a little bit longer than before. Like they notice I look better but they're not sure why yet.  Take it as a compliment!  They think you look good - so feel good about it.  It can only work in your favor if you have a positive attitude!  You go rock that sleeve!!

It's not that you weren't cute then, I think we all just have to accept that we look better when we eat right and are thinner! I know I look better than I did 50 pounds ago. I saw it yesterday and understood what others were seeing. I get it and I don't think anyone means to be anything but complimentary when they say it!
I say smile and say thanks! Every time someone mentions how could you look, you know your hard work is shining through!

Thanks.  I have never lacked confidence, lol but maybe I do have an extra glow since the church stairs aren't killing me as bad.  hahaha

People tell me, "Wow you look great!  Did you cut your hair??"  I think it takes a while to register.

I know I look better at 298 than I did at 353 and will look even better at 200, then 150, etc.  I don't understand how anyone telling you you look nice is anything but a compliment.
