Please tell me it gets better....

Please hang in there. What you are experiencing right now is totally temporary. It does get better. I am 8 months post op. You will start to feel better again at your 3rd week, however, each day it will get better. I promise! And then you will start to enjoy the ride. Take your pain medicine and follow your dr's orders. Don't push yourself. Congratulations!
Day 4 is when life got tollerable for me and day 9 is when I finally got in all my water and protein. From then on it's been pretty easy. I'm still not 100% as I get super tired and am asleep by 8pm but when I'm awake I feel fine.

Every day gets a little better. I hit my low on day 3 and really started to turn the corner on day 5. Just keep sipping and focus on staying hydrated! Protein will come later when you can get enough fluids to stay afloat.
