Realistic recovery time?
Hi:
I had surgery on a Tuesday out of the hospital on Thursday. Was supposed to go back to work the following Thursday but doctor wrote the note for 6 weeks and my work wouldn't let me come bac****il I had a release from doctor. On the day I would have gone back I have incision site pain from the muscles healing and there would have been no way I could have went back to my desk job which is high stress.
At the end of the day I took 4 weeks off and I was happy with it.
It was the first time I was away from my then 3 1/2 year old. I wrote a note to her and gave her a little gift for each of the days I was away. My mother in law read her the notes every morning. I had a little problem the Saturday after the surgery (mostly not sleeping) so my mother in law took my daughter again for the night and then next day she went looking for the gift and note.
