I was wondering if anyone has a suggested list of pureed foods and/or mushies to eat post-op? Or if you know where I can find one online? Thanks!

My favorite puree was hormel roast beef in the can...add a wee tad of water and whirl away...it was decent tasting and 18 grams of protein. I also ran chicken breast in the can thru the blender with chicken gravy in the jar that was not to awful either.

Scrambled eggs with/without cheese
yogurt
Wendy's Chilli in a blender.
Refried beans with cheese (Taco Bell's are great)
Tomato Bisque soup
Hormel Roast beef entree with gravy mixed with instant potatoes in blender
Tuna with low fat mayo in the blender.
Cottage cheese mixed with Spaghetti sauce in blender, top with melted cheese and microwave.
chicken salad mixed with Unjury protein chicken broth (in blender)
This is a difficult stage, I think, to find things to eat.
Next stage will be much better.
Good Luck

Look up the worldaccordingtoeggface.com and bariatricfoodie.com. They both have great suggestions for all stages. I also like the crab/lobster bisque from the seafood dept. at Publix and egg drop soup from our favorite chinese restaurant.

How much cottage cheese did you mix with the spaghetti sauce?  Thanks a bunch
for the tips.  I am keeping notes since I have not had my surgery yet.

Depends on if you want to eat more than one serving.  I can only eat about 1/3 cup at a time, only 1/4 cup if it 's tuna or chicken, etc.  So, maybe you could mix one cup of cottage cheese, pour spaghetti sauce over it, maybe 1/2 cup, top with mozerrella cheese and bake til cheese is bubbly.  To me this is a substitute for lasagne or spaghetti, and really tastes good!  This should give you about 3-4 servings.
