Biking 100 miles

Just over a year ago I would have that my odds of being able to bike 100 miles were about as good as my odds of flapping my arms and flying to Hollywood (i.e., ZERO).

I've been training for a while now, biking 90 to 150 miles per week and tomorrow will go for my first 100-mile ride. 100 MILES!!!!! Me! One year-ish post VSG surgery.

It can happen!

Thank you! I will give a ride update tomorrow night. I have to be on a 5:20 am ferry & I'm so excited--hope I can sleep.

Congrats! have fun! I used to be an avid cyclist and got on my bike for the first time again in a long while yesterday! What a great feeling! I am envious, I used to ride about 50-75 miles every weekend, and to and from work every day. (about 18 miles a day)
I can't wait to get back at it!

Referal weight 265, surgery date weight 243, ticker is all post op loss so add 22 to ticker loss

You just wait (and it doesn't take long). I'm so thrilled to be biking & hope you are able to get right back into it. It certainly helps for achieving goal! Good luck. Let's roll, eh?
