You may need to experiment with a few different kinds to find you that you look and that really helps your numbers. My endocrinologist recommends Ironsorbs - I take two of these a day for anemia. (I was anemic before the sleeve, I've been dealing with it for years.)
If you need to, it's generally considered OK to take a colace (or generic brand stool softener - NOT a laxative) with your iron supplement. Ask your doctor first, of course, but I've found it helps me.

When I went to the nutritionist for my insurance and Dr requirements, they suggested Celebrate vitamins! I ordered the Chewable Iron with Vit C. These vitamins can be chewable or not and they are flavored as well. They also have other vitamins as well in many flavors. I am not sure on how it is on your tummy as I haven't had surgery yet.
Of IMPORTANCE- the Iron that you get from Celebrate will not have the fillers that most Iron does! So maybe this would help with constipation.
Hope this helps!
