I did the neck lift 4 weeks ago, the tummy tuck is now scheduled.

I am -143 pounds.  10 more pounds to go.  My doctor set my goal weight to be 165.  I am 5'2, so I won't be a skinny girl, but I am very comfortable with my doctor's goal weight.  He is taking into consideration my age, I am 53, family history, etc.

 

I did the neck lift 4 weeks ago.  Recovery was rugged, but VERY WORTH IT!  My weight loss showed up the most in my neck, and my neck looked terrible.  It looks good now.  I have a current picture posted in my profile.  The cost for the neck lift was around $6,400.  I was on Oxycodone and muscle relaxants for 9 days afterwards.  I am doing good now.

 

I have PCOS, so the fat I left is on my tummy and no where else.  My plastic surgeon said I am petite everywhere else and he is right.  He will get rid of my chubby tummy and give me a flat tummy with an "inverted T." If you carry your weight on your tummy, make sure you ask for an Inverted T, bcos it will give your body definition, and give you a waist.  

 

I have always kept on weight to feel safe.  So this journey has been a challenge, but I am doing great.  :)  Thank God.  

 

I got sleeved on March 19th.  I was already down 50 pounds.  Now, I am down 143, and getting sleeved was the best decision I have ever made... after choosing Bill to marry, of course.  

 

I picked January 4th for the tummy tuck bcos I need time to think about it, and be fully ready for it mentally.  Physically, I am down the right amount to have it done now, but I need time to absorb the thought that I will no longer have weight on my tummy.

 

Six months later I plan to do a breast lift... just for fun.  ;)  Having the girls nice and perky will be so fun, LOL!

 

 

I want to add the inverted T tummy tuck will cost $8,400.  My surgeon is known to be the best in the area.

Yes, everyone tells me the same thing... the neck lift took off 10 years.  I think it took off 25 years!

Just saw your pics... Ummmmmm..... Whaaaaaaaaat? There is absolutely no way you are 53. You really do look at least 25 years younger! Amazing

Congrats!! I want a neck lift for sure. I'm 36 but my neck easily makes me look much older. I wonder how low my bmi would need to be before i could get it done... I think i'm about 35 now.

The truth... I have NEVER looked my age.  I have always looked 20 years younger than I am.  

 

I work for a school district, and have worked with the secretary for 9 years.  Last Spring she found out how old I am, bcos I told her.  You should have seen her!   Her mouth dropped open in disbelief.  She told me she thought I was about 35 at the very most.   And this is someone I have worked with for almost a decade!  

 

I look younger for a few reasons:  I do not smoke!  Ever notice how old smokers look?  I hope no one who smokes sees this post!  And, it is due to genetics.  My dad looks 30 years younger than he is.  

p.s.  SleevedLife... I got my neck lift done when I was about 15 pounds from medical goal.  My neck looked terrible and really needed it!
