Long day

Tomorrow I will be spending most of my day at hospital for last of pre-op testing. First a two+ hour class then blood work, pulmonary testing and the endoscopy. Final step till pre-surgery appointment to go over results on the 10th and surgery 13th. Jumble of feelings !!!

It all comes together so quickly all of a sudden, doesn't it? I just got sleeved Monday and still can't believe I'm now on the other side. :-)

Just be sure to ask all your questions, make sure you feel strong in your decisions, and go along for the ride. The surgery itself will be the easiest part of your journey.

Yep, it gets freaky and Real Emotional! I was a mess, my DH pointed out that I was acting like someone being brought to intervention. And I was! I was dealing with a breakup, a terrible loss of my best friend and lifelong enemy. From now on, we (food and I) will have a purely utilitarian relationship. I think that was a good sign, I pray that it was!

Ride your emotions, feel them all and journal. It will be a heck of a ride!
