10 days post-op & finally embracing my sleeve

So I was sleeved 1/31....and I can't to begin to count how many times I almost got off that operating table pre-op!! I was terrified!!! 

The experience has been a little difficult.....I was sent home the next day after having my sleeve, gallbladder removed & the hiatal hernia repaired that was found in the operating process! Talk about pain!!! 

I cried everyday up until Friday 8 days post-op.... The pain has calmed down tremendously! I am walking, sipping & doing well. Thank God!

It is also exciting to report that I am down 20lbs!!! Yes! 20lbs that I will never see again. Yay! 

 

So glad you're feeling better. From here on in, every day will feel a little better and you will be excited by even greater weight loss.

I'm so happy to hear this - you give me hope!! I am 6 days out, and I have been feeling like crapola. I hope I experience this transition in a few days, as you have .

Glad you are feeling better!  I am waiting on approval so I am trying to read EVERYTHING I can about those first days after surgery.  Sounds like it was a little challenging for you but you are doing very well now.
