Apple Shape - Not loosing inches in Waist-- just me whining!
Seriously, my clothes look RIDICULOUS! I'm not loosing much weight/inches in my waist, but everyone else is shrinking...my pants look like I'm trying to imitate MC Hammer...
when will my waist start dropping inches? Anything I can do?
I was the same way. Hang in there. I would lose it in weird areas that seemed random, but every so often the loss came off the waist. Now I am still a little out of whack- no butt, thin legs, and a little tummy- but I am no longer doing the MC Hammer thing by a long shot. Just be patient!

My fat used to be very evenly distributed...once I hit menopause, I turned into a pumpkin person....a big round thing with thinner-ish legs/hips. while I can tell i'm losing, it appears my, ahem, spare tire, has grown!! I keep telling myself it's the gas, it never came out. my tops, esp those with thinner material, look worse now then before surgery! I feel your pain Antimony!
I hope the others are right, and it will go away eventually!

I have big thighs and hips as well and my stomach is the first to go. I know my legs are smaller but I still hate them!!! After surgery my butt was completely flat!!! Then I started weight training and doing squats, lunges and other booty blasting exercises and it has helped my butt a lot!! My legs are coming around too but not fast enough :(
I've always been the apple and when ever I have lost weight in the past, I become kermit the frog. All my friends would complaint because they had junk in the trunk, which is so much more flattering and easier to hide. The only thing that helps is strength training...rough and tough.
