Had a sleep study last Friday and received the call today - sleep apnea is resolved!! I stopped on my way home and bought myself a bouquet of flowers to put on the nightstand in place of the machine (which I have boxed up!). It took me a while to get used to the CPAP but then I did use it faithfully until just a few months ago when it seemed like I was fighting it. I know not everyone's sleep apnea will resolve with weight loss - I was prepared for whatever results I would hear. I was so glad to hear it was gone that I cried, and then I did a little dance in my boss' office

i truly believe VSG saved my life!

Congratulations!  I am so looking forward to the day I can hopefully stop using my CPAP machine.  I'm glad I have it because I get rest at night now, but I'm so ready to ditch the damned thing!

I was super resistant to it in the beginning but had to admit that I did sleep better when I was compliant. Looks like you're only a few months from your "big day." Best to you - you will be so happy with your sleeve!!

6 weeks and counting!  I am excited, nervous and scared, but I'm told that's normal. :)  Can't wait!
