sizes depend on a lot of thing
first every company sizes things different some make there cloth big so your happy buying a smaller size
second every one has a different shape , depending where they store there fat
and the larger you are the more you need to lose to change sizes
I think it really matters on where you buy your clothes. I am 5'6" and was wearing Christopher Banks size 20 or 22 at 285lbs. But if I bought clothes somewhere else it was definitely 22/24's. It also depends on where you carry your weight. I was wearing 2X tops.
I have dropped 92 lbs and am down to size 14 and large tops.
Height and body shape definitely play into that. At my heaviest I was 305 wearing a 24/26. However, I hadn't bought new clothes for a while and probably could have worn bigger. I carried all my weight in my lower part of my stomach, I had the typical B shaped belly and big hips. Even when I was full term in my pregnancy I still had the B shaped belly, never went to the D shaped pregnant belly.
I did have some 20's as well...those clothes had me in denial but clearly I had stretched them out or the designer is off on what a real size 20 is!

You just made my day! Thank you! I still have the two rolls myself but they are getting smaller and smaller. I am sure I will have plenty of extra skin but nothing some cute clothes can't hide! I am wearing a 14 currently (I buy new clothes from goodwill and clearance every 5 weeks or so) and my 14's a bit saggy, especially in the bum! You will get there girl, rock that sleeve. I am only 6 months out!
