Sizes
It is interesting! If I were 165 (I was at one point in high school), I would be in a 10 or possibly squeezing into an 8!

I find it interesting too! I started at a tight 30 when I was 444 lbs, but I'm almost 5'10" and my weight is distributed evenly. I find it interesting that after losing 130 lbs (313.2 lbs), I'm still in a 24! I wish I was flying through sizes faster!! Actually.... I don't know if I'm going slow or not? lol

At around 350-310 I was a snug 34. I'm all belly, though! Now that I'm down around 270, I'm a comfortable 26. We are definitely all made differently.

Im 5'4" and I started out at 234 pounds wearing a size 20. I have an hourglass shape, it was just hid under there. I had very big arms and thighs. I reached goal in a year 134 pounds, size 4-6. I never thought I would ever see the day I would wear a 4 but I wear them almost daily. I have a couple of size 2's in dress pants but mostly I wear a 4 and occasionally a 6 depending on the cut. I have been maintaining here for about 10 months now. I had my excess skin removed 6 months ago but it didnt change my weight to speak of. It did help in the way my clothes fit and my arms are fabulous! They were really big so I had lots of skin hanging that is now gone! YAY!
I often wondered how people said they wore a certain size at my height and I didnt, I think its all in how we are built. My sister started out her journey at 315, she is 5'5". She was a size 30 because she carried it all in the middle. Now she is 220, a year out, and a size 14/16.
At my heaviest I was 5'5" 395 and I wore 28/30. I'm 318/316 and I'm STILL a wear 26/28. LOL. What makes you go down in size is not just losing weight but toning up while you're losing weight. When I was doing bootcamp, I was toning my body and I was able to go down a size and wear 22/24 at 320. So I'm going to start strength training today. I had surgery on 5-15-13. That's what's going to make a big difference in your clothing sizes. Muscle takes up less mass than fat.
