Hubbys progress....and his NSV
Progress - hubby was sleeved 6 weeks after I was, and like most men, lose faster then us women folk....he's down almost 70 lbs since 4/18 (almost 6' tall).....he's now off sssoooo much of his diabetes meds...down from 5 shots a day to 2 (Lantis only, less than half the original dose)...no more metformin, I think the statin is gone....just taking one for blood pressure. How great is that! and went from 3x to just xl shirts !!!
NSV - several months ago he pulled a muscle while leaning over to pull the gas tank cover release (whatever it's called) between the door and drivers seat.....he then was releasing it before we'd get in car, or have to open the door then release it. (note, he would not have to get out of car for gas, as we are one of the very few states that do not allow us to pump our own gas). Last week he realized he can lean over and release it without hurting himself! Silly little nsv that was never thought about before :)
