Well, I had my sleeve done on Wednesday, everything went very well.  Wonderful surgeon, wonderful hospital staff.  I got let out Friday and was slow on my intake, so they wanted to keep me another night, but agreed to let me go since I wasn't getting any sleep in there. I felt however that I was drinking more (first afraid of the little pain I felt when drinking, but then it was gone by Thursday afternoon).  We got home (an hour drive)--my husband had been complaining of pain in his stomach (he had bypass 2 years ago and has lost around 200 pounds).  We just figured he ate something that disagreed, and at that time I had a migraine and just got home so I went right to bed to sleep.  He drives himself to the hospital and they tell him it could be a twisted bowel (where a few inches might be dead).  The weight loss hospital (an hour away would take him in--Thank God). So they sent him in ambulance (he wanted to drive) to that hospital, where he had surgery this morning.  Things went well, and they determined it was his intestine pushing through the stitch or staple line (you all probably know the name of this).  I'll learn more later.  Of course it was dangerous, but less than the twisted bowel (dead bowel) could of been.  So it has been a crazy few days here, and I think I'm doing a little more around here than I should to prepare for him coming home.  If you wouldn't mind saying a prayer, sending good thoughts, our way, I'd appreciate it.  Everything is going to be fine, and it could of been worse if he hadn't got to the hospital.

How scary! I can't believe he had a complication after two years. I'm glad he's okay, and I am sending good thoughts his and your way.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes, that was certainly needed in this unbelievable tale we live.  Hubby is home and is feeling very well, intestines were wrapped around the pouch, creating some type of hernia.  They said this happens alot with those who have lost so much, so quickly through the bypass.  Thank God it was a quick fix and  he is home now feeling well.  Again, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
