Pills Pills Pills...
Please help me wrap my head around this. I know a vitamin or two a day is much better than that huge handful of diabetic pills my father takes every day. But the thought of any meds had me running for cover.
Gummies are perfectly acceptable to most surgeons. The only "pill" meds I am taking is my calcium and it is a whopper of a horse pill. I'm going to switch to chewables there, so long as I can get the same dosage. My current meds regimine is:
Sublingual (under the tongue) Vitamin B liquid - once a week
"One a Day" gummy vitamin - daily
"Citrical" calcium - daily
I'm also currently on a PPI, but that shouldn't be forever - this one is a daily pill.
There are ways to get pretty much any medication formed in a liquid if this is the only thing stopping you from considering VSG. Many surgeons actually do this for their patients directly post op because they don't want their patients taking pills yet. Mine let me go straight to my meds no problem, but to each his own.
Best of luck!

if you take gummies you probably will have to take a tiny iron pill also
I tried liquid calcium but hated it , I just take the giant pills 3 times a day , you need 1500 but you body can onlt absorb 500 at a time and you can't take vits at the same time
