The dreaded charlie horse visited me last night.  It was the worse one I've had!!!! I've done the research on the past messages on this and realize it happens sometimes.  I could be not drinking enough, I managed to make it to the kitchen and grabbed a banana and that did help, I think I'll get some pickles.

I wanted to blame it on my first experience of jumping jacks since I was a kid, but guess I can't enlightened

I got a bad one last night, but I'm still pre-op :-)  But I am on day 4 of no carbs, so I attributed it to that.  I think I'm going to float away I'm drinking so much water!

I hope that banana helped!

If it's your hamstring or foot, I know you can point your foot up to your head (flex it) as soon as you start to feel it coming on.  This should help.  I'm not sure about other types of muscles.

Thanks mmmesser, it was the hamstring, and boy oh boy I tried everything, tried to flex but I couldn't move it for a while.
