Milk of magnisia is safe to take

the mirilax is not doing the job this week , is milk of magnisa safe to take

Thats what I use, miralax is good but you must use daily MOM is for once in a while, if no BM in 2-3 days MOM for me esp if your norm is 1 BM a day! Always keep water intake up thats where I fall down many times. Good luck

my doctor said milk of magnesia was fine to take, adding magnesium citrate can also be helpful to your list of daily vitamins and minerals can also be helpful.

Your message is short and sweet.  My doctor did say milk of magnesia is o.k.  Miralax first, BUT I'm on my way to get some magnesium oxide 2X as I've read where this can be a lifesaver also.  I've been experiencing horrible constipation, so I'm just going to do the miralax 2X a day whether I think I need it or not and the magnesium Good luck, this is the only thing I hate about our surgery.
