Feel like I have something stuck in my throat.

Hey everyone. I'm still doing well one week postoperative but I feel like I have something stuck in my throat. Is this normal? I have been following the full liquid diet and drinking enough. Just curious if I should call the dr.

I am not giving medical advice and I am only 2 weeks out so I don't know if it's normal or not, but I had that too for about a week and a half and it has went away, I feel it once in a while but not as much

I had that exact feeling and went to the Doctor, glad I did as it was thrush and easily treatable.

Its highly unlikely, but 10 years ago, I had a similar feeling and ended up with a lump the size of an egg on my thyroid. I would have it checked out. Better to be safe than sorry.

Of course, I am not a doctor, so if it is bothering you I would recommend that you see your doctor. I will say though, that I discovered that very early out the feeling of having something stuck in my throat was an indication that I had sipped something too quickly and taken in too much at one time.
