The Stall

Hey guys!  Just wondering how long everybody had the dreaded '3week' stall?  I had a one on one dietician consult yesterday and she told me it could last between week 3 to week 7!  I have been the same weight give or take 0.4lbs!!  What should I change up?  Trying not to get more than 800 calls a day!  Surgery was 9/19.

Mine lasted about 4 weeks.  Don't change anything.  Just keep doing what you're doing.  It will pass.

I'm almost 10 months post-op and I can't eat 800 cal. At your stage, I was around 400 calories max. I think you need to lower your calories.

I didn't have a stall until 14 weeks and it only lasted a week. I firmly believe that keeping my water and protein up was the key.

Chissy... Do you workout? If so, when did you start. I have a personal trainer that I see twice a week. I told him I would be out a month at the least.

Honestly, no. I haven't started a routine yet. I wanted to let my body do its thing for a while and then jump start it again when things slow down. **puts fingers in ears when vets start yelling at me** 

However, I could have started at probably 2 months out. I had a hard time getting enough calories and protein at the beginning to keep me from feeling constantly weak due to my reflux going I diagnosed for so long. I do plan to start running soon. My street is not safe to run on, so I'm currently researching treadmills :)

lol... Well you have done great girl. I told my trainer no bat wings after surgery!!!! He said okay... lol

Mine lasted about 10 days.  Then I lost 13 lbs and stalled again for a little while.  It happens.  Just stick to your plan, stay between 600-800 calories, and try to keep carbs on the low side.  It'll start back up again.
