I was seriously struggling through a stall so I posted on here for help. I was advised to drink 100 ozs of water a day and guess what? The weight is coming off again!!! I thought it would be impossible to drink that much but I was wrong. Water is my new best friend Thanks for the advice!

I am 7 weeks post op and I was at the same weight for 2 1/2 weeks. I'm just glad to be losing again :-)

I'm 2 1/2 weeks out. Lost 11 pounds but haven't budged in a week. It's frustrating but I know it will change eventually. Lol I drink water all day, think I'll try to increase it.

I am almost 3 weeks out and the last week I did lose a single pound. I am so frustrated with this stall, but I keep telling myself it will pass soon. I keep drinking water about 4 bottles per day, and I know I need to drink more.

Hey jenamir, I'm in the same boat as you. Was sleeved on Oct. 22 and the weight is creeping by but I still believe I have some swelling in my abdomen plus my body is still adjusting to all that has happened to it. Not to mention, losing some weight during the pre-op diet already. I think what gives me the most comfort about the lack of weight loss is the fact that stalling is so common around here. I certainly don't wish this on anyone but I'm so glad that people have blogged about it which makes me feel much better. It's nice when you're not alone in your issues...makes you feel kinda normal IMO.

Don't worry, your body is adjusting to the surgery. I hit a stall at 3 weeks that lasted until the 6th week! I remember thinking that it had to be impossible not to lose weight with such a low calorie intake. Then all of a sudden I started losing a 1/2 pound a day everyday for awhile. Now at 4 months I have stalled again. Don't get discouraged, it will happen :)

Yep these stalls are killers.  I took my measurements and hopefully I'll see results with that in the next week or so.
