Awesome Job. I will be having my WLS on the 10th and my feelings are the same. I'm so excited and ready to start my new year off right, this is the best Christmas gift I'm giving myself. I will be praying for us both and best of luck to you I look forward to hearing how it went for you.
I have my surgery on the 10th too. I am excited and scared as well. I have issues with anesthesia and pain meds...I get very nauseaus. I am afraid I am going to have a difficult few days. The good thing though is it can only get better. I have a beautiful 15 month old grandson and I need to get healthy so I can enjoy him and all of his activities...Lots of luck!!! Keep me posted.

Congrats to all of you. Last week at this time I was two days out also. I am now 5 days post op. I wont lie, the first three days are hard. The 4th day was mixed and today I feel better. Like i am getting my strength back. I am still taking it easy. My goal is to increase my liquids each day. I decided to do it step by step. I have made sure that I am getting in my water and the liquid nutrition is making progress. It is hard because I have no appetite. I did watch some food shows to "get me to eat". It helped. The weather here in New England will be bad this evening and part of the day tomorrow. I stopped the pain meds on Day 3. I felt too much like a zombie. I did fine on tylenol. Afterwards just relax and remind yourself that the pain and challenges are only temporary. I did have a couple of days of being blue and emotional. I realized that it was because it has been this "high" during pre-op. After surgery it is not a bunch of highs! Just navigate through it all and before you know it, you will start returning to those highs!
