And down 20 (yes, twenty) pounds! Fluids going well, not on the high end, but sufficient. Started puréed. I like eggface's Banana Bread Smoothie- I didn't use a banana and it was still good and provided breakfast and lunch (couldn't do it all). Made the ricotta bake with no sugar added spaghetti sauce, smells good! AND I just finished 25 min on the treadmill. Perhaps the slowest mile, I could do better preop but I just wanted to move and it felt great.

My office buddy asked if I met my goal for the week (about the weight loss). I have a final goal number in mind, but not weekly goal numbers (maybe i should?). I told her that my 'goal' is to make right choices and life changes, day by day, meal by meal. I believe if I keep that focus, I WILL reach the goal. I've seen enough success stories from those that 'just follow the plan' to believe it for me too right now.

Congratulations on your surgery and weight loss.  I like your goal of making the right choices.  I think many of us would be happier if we took our focus off the scale number!

Don't let the third week stall dampen your enthusiasm!

best wishes,

Carol

Thanks! I see that a lot...I'm just gonna focus on doing right. I guess if it happens, the number will catch up eventually. Just talking about it is making me increase my water goal this week too. :)

Congratulations!  Sounds like you have the right attitude.  Being thin is nice...being healthy is life changing.  Blessings to you!

It's a recipe from 'the world according to eggface.' Many have referred to her website and it is really good.
