My trip to NY, NSV and temptations
Well, first there was the plane. No seat belt extender, and boy did I have SO much more room in my seat than I have in a long, long time. I even ventured into the lavatory, which I have avoided for years because I almost got stuck in it the last time I tried, and had plenty of room to do everything! And no one gave me the "oh my god, she's not going to sit by me" look. That was really nice, too. I got to my sisters house and it's filled with snacks. I was not feeling well and was not good the first 2 days. Today I woke up with a new attitude, and got back to tracking my food. I've made some sleeve friendly foods to have in the house, like hard boiled eggs, and had one of them for breakfast. We're going to the diner for dinner, and I've already got planned what I'm going to have there. Now I've just got to figure out lunch. She has some ham in the fridge, so I'll probably have that. I will make it a point to log on here every day to get my dose of reality from the folks on this site to help keep my head in the game. I'd like to get home a couple of pounds less than when I left.
Jane
Thanks Jenn. I'm going through a rough patch lately, but don't feel defeated for once. I know I'm going to pull through this!
Jane you will get through this time, remember the feeling of euphoria with each pound lost, certainly lasts longer then the momentary taste for sweets and high calorie foods. A small taste is ok, just please be proud of all you've accomplished and take the joy in that!
