So I have the flu. I don't feel like eating anything. Advise? Am I going to be in big trouble for not getting in my protein? I am almost 6 months post op.

Don't worry about protein...

but KEEP HYDRATED!!

if you can stomach a protein shake or 2 that would give you fluids and some protein...

Thanks. I don't feel like consuming anything at this point. I can't get warm at all.

How about some nice hot tea or broth?

I will go fix some hot tea and try it. I had wonton soup without the noodles for lunch.

Think back to when you were immediately post-op.  Worry about getting fluid in and staying hydrated.

Hope you feel better soon.

Getting the flu now is like before.  You'll spend a few days sick and get better and then back to normal.  Stay hydrated...that's the main thing!
