Immediately after surgery: Blood sugars normal, metformin discontinued! Month 1: 18.2 lbs lost; Month 2: 11 lbs lost. Month 3: 11 lbs lost

So happy for you that you are doing this when you are young. My hubby was 48 when he did the RNY and I was 50 when I did the sleeve. You will enjoy such a more healthy life and you will love it!!!

Congrats! That's awesome! Best decision ever! I quit all the nasty eating habits cold turkey though... 3 days before my surgery I had to do a "light diet", and then the day before was liquid only. I have always been a cold turkey kinda girl. Quit smoking and drinking in the past, both cold turkey and have never gone back! Been quit from cigs for 11 years now. Good luck with starting things right away.
