Overly dramatic sigh - what is wrong with me?
Coming off of what may be the most ultimate "high" of seeing the scale drop at such a rapid pace and shrinking out of size after size....... is kind of hard to beat.....and can leave your head spinning....
Maintenance....... kinda boring..... a challenge in it's own..... but much less "thrilling"......
A lot of discovery and re-discovery ahead.
New challenges need to be both mental and physical...... I do many more physical activities (to protect my skinny) and have taken on some new business challenges as well as pursuing some interests that overlap both.
I'm building custom bicycles and resuming my motorcycle build and I'm in planning stages on taking my food/cooking/nutrition/activity/WL thing mass market. All of which would not have been possible or come together as an SMO just looking for another day of breathing.......
Lot's of possibilities !!!

I saw your comment about being on psych meds... As someone with a certifiable case of the crazies myself, have you talked to your pdoc lately? You may need to look into adjusting your doses or trying a new medication. I've had to tweak doses already as I've lost weight, and over the past several years I've had to switch meds several times. Sometimes they just crap out after a long time, other times you need to swap for something that works on different brain chemicals. Such is life! Therapy is great, but sometimes the chemistry needs a boost as well.
If you need help finding a doctor and/or counselor, have you looked into your local chapter of NAMI? They're great about referrals, and often there are people who are really familiar with local clinicians and can point you towards the right person for you.
Sending good thoughts your way! Don't hesitate to PM if you need somebody to grump to, we "crazies" need to stick together

I'm going to make an appt with a psychiatrist. I've been getting drugs prescribed by my GP, and I think I either need a higher dosage of Zoloft or a different drug. I felt better for about a month, and now I'm back under my black rain cloud. The Xanax definitely helps when I'm having panic attacks. I've only been on psych meds since November of last year, so I know we're still working out the kinks, but this isn't a short term thing for me I don't think, so I think it's necessary I have an actual psychiatrist. I get the feeling my GP isn't terribly comfortable with prescribing long term or trying out different meds, which is fine bc it's obviously not her wheelhouse. You also feel free to PM too :) Nothing wrong with being a little crazy. Makes life, um, interesting. Haha

That's great! I started out with my GP also, but my psychiatrist knows SOOO much about meds and interactions and everything. A good one can look at your symptoms and take a better guess as to what meds will work better based on the particular chemicals that might be funky, so fingers crossed that it works out well for you! :)
