Just wondering? Do you count from your high weight or surgery weight?

I count from highest weight. I want credit for that other 8 pounds! I lost that, too!

It's all up to you. I have seen some count from their highest weight, others count from start of their pre-op diet. However, I think most start from the day of surgery.

I count from my highest weight. I worked hard for the 15lbs that I lost before surgery. I had to do six months of weight loss! In my support group was say "since surgery loss" with "total weight loss".  There is no right or wrong.

I've been counting from my pre-op diet start weight,  though that's not my highest. I hadlost about 15 or so over the past few years.

I counted from my highest weight. I had to lose a certain amount to even qualify for surgery from my doctor.

I start from my highest weight.  That's the weight that sent me on my way to get something that could fix my problem.

I feel a sense of peace about my weight loss this time.  I'd love for the weight to be dropping off of me, but it's not.  But I'm sticking with eating healthy, moving when the weather permits and staying the course for the long haul.  I feel fantastic and already consider the surgery a success.  It's all gravy from here.
