Where do you count your weight loss from?
From the weight when I started my preop diet. I had lost weight from my highest during the six month medically supervised diet. If I factor that into the equation, I'm down 111 lbs total.

I used the day that I went to my first consult for the official start. I put the + sign on my ticker because that reflects the additional pounds to my highest weight.

I think we deserve credit for every pound, don't you? I started with my initial consultation in June 2013, where I weighed 322 pounds. My high weight was 325. I usually use one of those weights as my starting weight. At that point I met with the NUT who set me up with a healthy eating plan and the exercise physiologist who set me up with an exercise plan, which helped me get down to 282 by surgery in December. I recently started using an Android app, Monitor Your Weight, and I made two separate profiles to keep track of my total weight loss and my post-op weight loss. I do want to know how I'm doing since surgery, but I feel like the pre-op loss should count, too. To me, it's all a result of the weight loss surgery process.

I have a few monumental incidents that happened before I saw my surgeon.I had surgery two years ago and I am down a 100 pounds from that.I use that one in my head.
I use the weight from when I started my weight loss journey when I met my surgeon. I use this as my start weight.I only lost like ten pounds from the time I met my surgeon.
