Recommendations on chewable vitamins?

So, I had a revision on 3/31 (revised VSG) and I had my first post-op today.  As before, I was told to start a multi-vitamin; calcium citrate and B12.  Unlike last time though, the NUT suggested chewables.  I did all vitamins diligently for a while after the original procedure in 2009 and then...kind of fell off the wagon.  In large part, swallowing multiple pills a day became a pain.  I think I'd continue longer this time if (1) I didn't have to swallow 3 more pills than I already take every day, and (2) they tasted good...so I go in search of chewables.

So, the NUT recommended Centrum but I know that Celebrate Vitamins has a wide selection of chewables as well.  Anyone use these and have any thoughts on how they taste?  They have great sounding flavors but curious if they are actually decent tasting (not chalky or gritty etc).

Any other vitamins people would recommend?

I've been using bariatric advantage and enjoy them as much as they can be enjoyed.  I really actually like the chocolate peanut butter calcium citrate chews.  Yum.  The B-12 is sublingual and I like the orange multivitamin.  My NUT actually gave me a sampler pack so I could try them all pre-op!

I recently started on Celebrate chewable multivitamins in Mandarin Orange.  I like them.  I was taking the Bariatric Advantage chewables in Berry and HATED THEM.  Way too tart, gritty and chalky for me.

The Celebrate orange tastes like baby aspirin to me, and dissipate quickly without leaving an nasty taste in my mouth.  They dissolve easier than the Bariatric Advantage and aren't grimy.

Bariatric Advantage caramel calcium chews are awesome, but expensive. I justify the cost because I'm saving heaps on my dining out bills.

Everyone's tastes are different so it's one of those things you learn by trial and error.  I'm currently annoyed with Bariatric Advantage because they automatically shipped me vitamins THAT I DID NOT ORDER.  I returned them and they still haven't issued me credit.  I'm having to file a complaint with my credit card company.  So buyer beware with them.

You can order a sample pack from celebrate for $3. Then they take it off your first order. Personally I tolerate the pineapple strawberry ones, but not a huge fan. I love the Carmel caluim  cirate chews from barartic advantage. Everyone's taste is so different so samples are great if u can get them. Good luck!

Our NUT told us to take children's chewable vitamins (morning and evening) because they have more vitamins than adult multi-vitamins.  I found the Target brand (comparable to Flintstones) are a little cheaper and actually taste a little better.

Children's chewables are a good idea. Not sure I would have thought of those. But they would be easy to find and would probably taste pretty good. Have to look into that.

Thanks.

A lot of them are lacking all the vitamins and minerals we need, so be sure to read the labels VERY carefully.

My NUT told us to count the number of vitamins listed. You would be surprised how many more vitamins the children's chewable vits have in comparison to something like the adult Centrum Complete. They wanted us to get as close to 20 different vitamins in our chewable as possible. The Target brand found beside the Flintstones are just a touch less chalky to me. Good luck!

Hi! I'm doing research on the chewable vitamins with hopes to purchase them soon.  Do the Target brand children's chewable vitamins have iron as well?  If so, do you know how many grams?

Thank you!

I ended up buying the Walgreen's brand this time because they were buy one get one free and I think they are still less chalky than the flintstones complete. They do have iron (18 gr). They also have a comparable # of vitamins to the Flintstones complete.
