I would call your dietician to see what they would recommend for sensible gaining. basically more calories - but good ones, more protein, and work on building muscle - so a trainer might be a way to go too.

I'm sorry that you are struggling. Can you tell us what you eat during the day and if you log your food? It's hard to know how to help you until we know what the problem is.
I'm sure you can get on track. I'm assuming you aren't consuming enough and need to add some good healthy food to your diet which will also help improve your energy and spirits.

All heathy fat type, low amount/high calorie foods
Use full fat products
Remember, it only takes going over 100 calories a day to gain 10 pounds in a year.

Well, one of the reasons why you feel horrible could be your diet. Sounds like you've migrated to unhealthy sugars and carbs and your body isn't receiving the nutrition that it needs.
I think your best bet is to consult with a nutritionist who can evaluate your current food intake and make recommendations to help you achieve your goal of gaining 15-20 pounds. Eating junk food is not the way to do it. Good luck to you.

Hey Sassy! Drop the chips/cookies/any other EMPTY/USELESS calories NOW NOW NOW...How long since you had some labs run? Our bodies are such fascinating machines. If you are craving the salt of vhips, it could be an indication your body is low in natural sodium. Being low in iron can make you crave ice, of all silly-but true-things. Blood can't lie, and it is an excellent "starting point". NUMBERS aside, how do you FEEL? If you started eating some balanced, PLANNED meals--no snatch/grab "on the run" crap, you probably would actually feel hungry, and have energy...

I would be very careful with the chips and cookies. You may find your wanted 10 pounds comes roaring back and brings a bunch of friends. I would recommend eating protein and vegetables first.
