Please go to the lapband forum a woman there recently posted about this as a symtom of a medical condition, I'd link it but don't know how, sorry. We were all told this signals full but it can be something more serious. The post was by Tonnabug who now has a sleeve.

It's common post sleeve.  I have the same thing.

I had it many times in the first six months then less and less. Now maybe once every couple of weeks at most. Its vagus nerve stimulation when your sleeve is full. Usually when your nose start running or you sneeze, it means you have already taken that extra bite and you should stop now. Since my capacity increased over time but I kept to small portions, the nose/sneezes are very rare now.

Lots of sleeved folks have this runny nose issue. I get it sometimes. I also get hiccups or a burp or two when I'm reaching that full point.

I'm learning to read these new body signals and listen to them. I obviously never listened before!

No worries- very normal vsg response to eating just a smidge too much.  Eat a little less, and no runny nose :)

I get hiccups just before I get full...that's my signal to stop eating.  Most of the time I'm under-eating anyway so I don't get to that point.

Me too.  I hiccup 2-3 times in quick succession and I stop.  If not, 1-2 more bites and I've overdone it a little.  I've never had the runny nose.

Hic-ups and runny nose "in most cases" means you ate to much.....back it off, it's just another meal and the next meal will come soon enough.....
