I will be 7 months out at the end of the month.  I realized today, that I am only 45 pounds away from my personal goal.

I have already exceeded the initial goal of my VSG surgeon as well as my Orthopedic Surgeon. They both now realize that I am all in, laser focused and won't settle for anything less than my personal goal come hell or high water.  I will fight for every pound until it is reached.  They both have now adjusted their goal expectations to be more in line with mine.

I now weigh less than I did at my HS graduation - (32 years ago!).  I am fast approaching what I weighed as a Sophmore in HS.   I've completed a 5K and will do another next weekend.  Who the heck is this person I am becoming?!?!?  I am not sure, but I her!!!!!

Having lost 262 pounds so far, I have skin, skin and more skin.  There is no bounce back when one originally weighed 447 pounds.  I look like a melting candle under my clothes and will continue to look this way as more weight comes off, but hey....I am a healthy melting candle.  :)

I can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  What was once only a far off dream.... is becoming a reality!  Only 45 pounds to go....     Life is good!
